Read & Draw Together
In this short presentation perfect for small, wiggly listeners, Taylor will read her book Earth Rover and teach students how to draw Rover.

Remarkable Rovers
In this STEAM-friendly presentation, Taylor will read her book Earth Rover and talk with students about the real-life rovers that space programs like NASA are using right now. Taylor will demonstrate how to draw a rover with special features prompted by the audiance and answer questions.

Editing & Revising
Taylor will talk about how editing and revising played a role in her writing both as a student and professionally. She will read her book Earth Rover aloud and talk about three BIG revisions she made that lead to the book getting published. Taylor will finish by teaching students how to draw Rover and answering questions.

Letter Writing Lab
Taylor will read her book Earth Rover aloud and talk to students about how the story takes the form of a letter. She will give a presentation breaking down the basic components of a letter, how to address an envelope, and share information about the four astronauts who traveled to the moon on the Artemis II mission. Students can then use a templated or blank letter (teacher’s choice) to draw a picture, write a letter, and address an envelope to the astronaut of their choice. Stamps/Postage not included.

Rocket Launch Lab
In this STEAM-friendly presentation, Taylor will read her book Earth Rover and talk with students about what forces are and what role they play in a rocket launch. Students will make their own paper rocket and have a chance to use forces to launch their rocket to a lunar floor target. To make this program successful, students will need to have basic scissor skills.

If students would like to follow along with the drawing demo, they will each need a clipboard, paper, and pencil. If that's not possible, I can call a volunteer up to the front to draw with me during the demo.
I'll need a projector setup with an HDMI or USB-C cable (I will bring my own computer). A drawing easle if one is available, and a microphone if you feel one is needed for your space.
